Dr. Olivier R. Schuhl
Managing Partner
Olivier Schuhl is a legal executive with expertise incorporate law and compliance, managing complex business transactions throughout Latin America and the US. With over fifteen years working for multinational companies, he has accrued extensive experience as in-house counsel, providing legal, compliance and corporate affairs support to CEOs and Boards, and working closely with CFOs, AuditCommittees, HR and Operational Business Areas. He currently heads Global Business Consulting, a local consulting firm specialized in foreign and local investors implementing projects in LatinAmerica. Before this he served as the GroupGeneral Counsel and Compliance Officer at forAdvent International companies such as Grupo Biotoscana and LKM. He was Head Counsel at Telefonica Global Solutions from 2010 to 2015. He joined Telefonica in 2000 and served in a wide scope of international operations, overseeing the legal support for wholesale operations in LatinAmerica between 2000 and 2010. He holds a Doctor of Law and Social Sciences degree from Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay, holds an economy diploma from theInstituto de Economía de Montevideo and has pursued postgraduate studies at the IESE Business School in Spain. He is currently based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
